I Now Understand...

This guy, perhaps better known to you all as "Lindsey Stirling's backup chorus" The new brand of awesome I was way behind in discovering properly...:/ I think I even like his own videos better than Stirling's...:D

p.s. Google has gone overboard, and it might convince me in short order to kill my blogs if it keeps up. It's sending a new demand to enter my e-mail and password every five seconds. In the course of this post, I have "signed in" five times and been pestered about it a lot more. Can't even publish this note w/o doing it. In the event that I kill my blogs, and I lose my account completely, I will continue to read your posts and comment. What can I say? It's mental torture to get interrupted pointlessly this many times...

  1. Hey JT,
Gee, that sounds horrid! Do you always sign in from your Google account? Have you tried for instance typing in a different address, i.e. blogger dashboard?
Glad to know if worst comes to worst you'll still be around.

    God Bless,
    Vellvin.

    1. I don't actually keep an active google account. (I consider having an account being active in googleplus) Google overstepped a while ago and synced all the sites they own (i.e. blogger, youtube, google plus) so that your e-mail and password sign you into any of them. So, since I maintain a blogger presence, I'm subject to that. They now made it worse. Only tonight it started forcing me to sign into the Google synced database everytime I tried to get to blogger, whereas before, I would, actually, just type blogger.com/home and it would redirect to a direct sign-in to blogger alone.
What really drove me nuts was that I 1) went to youtube to get the link I put up above,2) signed out of youtube so other people wouldn't be taken directly to my personal preference page 3) had to find the page again b/c of signing out 4)etc...5) flipping between sites and signing out to protect myself triggered an override message saying "you have just signed out of a site. Are you sure you meant to" And the system literally would not take YES for an answer! 6) after "resigning-in" four times, it kept doing this while i was trying to write the above post.(the notice would freeze the post and disabled the publish button) 7) Suddenly I had two copies of my dashboard open, one w/ the post and one w/o. 8) It was only after all that nerve-wracking pointlessness that this post finally went up. I think the day I go through that nuisance again I will just post "May It Be" and "Into The West" and abruptly delete my blogs the week after.
Whew. That was far too much info! But at least now no one will ask.

  2. Oh yeah, Peter Hollens is awesome. His Misty Mountains cover is fantastic and I like a lot of his other work.

As for your Google problems, I have a possible suggestion. For YouTube you should be able to create a separate with your channel having its own Google+ account so that when you sign out it will only sign you out of your YouTube account not Blogger. You shouldn't have to change anything on your YouTube account other than the setting that links your Blogger/Google account with your YouTube.

    3. So, you are saying it is working, right? If not, I will be glad to help fix any problems with it.
