LOTR Marathon!

Last night I succeeded in completing a one-day extended edition marathon of LOTR. It comes as a surprise to me that I liked it even better this time than the last, although I still believe Jackson made a pile of dumb decisions in the third movie. Since you all know everything I've seen there's no more to say, just that I really disappointed because subtitles are not enabled on the commentary, so I will never be able to enjoy that part...

  1. Ah, you have finally seen the Extended Editions! Although, it sounds as though I must have missed the post where you said that you watched the EEs in the past. Having a LOTR EE marathon is on my bucket list to do at some point. I wonder how long a LOTR/Hobbit EE marathon would take? Obviously, the third movie will have to come out first. Anyway, I am getting off topic. The commentary does not have subtitles? That's rather strange since I believe I have seen subtitles for other commentary tracks I have listened to.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to find them? I know you have been looking for the DVDs for a while now.

    1. Months ago I got the first and second from Amazon and found the third one on ebay. I didn't actually post about it when I saw them the first time. A marathon of all six movies would hit 24 hours without even pausing the film...:)
